The Consequences of Enzyme Deficiencies

One of the main reasons for the low enzyme quantities in our food, and this is stated by the Nutrition Security Institute, is the fact that most of our food is processed, and while processing the food, high heat is used which kills the digestive enzymes, it also stated that the earth’s fertility is on the decrease, both of those reasons contribute to the decrease of the healthy nutrition values of fruits and vegetables. And the key to overcome that decrease in the digestive enzymes, is maintaining a healthy diet that contains fats, proteins and carbohydrates, since they produce enough enzyme lipase, protease and amylase that the body needs to healthily digest food.
Not having enough digestive enzymes can be very health-threatening, as it leads to slow digestion, and it also leads to the putrefying and rotting of the food, because it wasn’t digested well. The putrefied food can produce toxins that create a suitable environment for dangerous bacteria on the colon’s wall; these cells on the colon’s wall then develop into polyps, which are widely known as a colon cancer indicator.
Enzyme Deficiencies
This is why it is important to increase the enzyme count in our body, but the most important reason is the fact that we were born with a specific amount of enzymes, but as we age, it’s our job to supply our body with enzymes by eating nutritious food. Keeping your body supplied with enzymes is said to lengthen your years on earth, even if this is not true, it’s a scientific fact that enzymes participate in the process of healthy digestion that results in providing the body with everything it needs.
Here are some of the symptoms that results from low enzyme count:-
- Diarrhea
- Acne
- Back pain
- Depression
- Fatigue
- Heart diseases
- Constipation
- Sinus diseases
- Gallstones
Choosing the healthy type of food is very important, but sadly our economy depends on the selling of drugs and processed food more than healthy food, but processed food causes digestive problems and other health problems that we mentioned above, that’s why in order to avoid dangerous diseases such as heart attacks, cancer and strokes, you have to choose wisely what you put in your mouth.
