Earthling Documentary
Earthlings is a 2005 documentary film about humanity's use of animals as pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and for scientific research. The film is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, features music by Moby, was directed by Shaun Monson, and was co-produced by Maggie Q, all of whom are practicing vegans.
Covering pet stores, puppy mills and animal shelters, as well as factory farms, the leather and fur trades, sports and entertainment industries, and finally the medical and scientific profession, Earthlings includes footage obtained through the use of hidden cameras to chronicle the day-to-day practices of some of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely on animals. It draws parallels between racism, sexism, and speciesism.
Joaquin Phoenix commented on the documentary that, "Of all the films I have ever made, this is the one that gets people talking the most. For every one person who sees Earthlings, they will tell three." Peter Singer, best known for his book Animal Liberation states, "If I could make everyone in the world see one film, I'd make them see Earthlings" and Tom Regan, "For those who watch Earthlings, the world will never be the same."
In 2005, Earthlings premiered at the Artivist Film Festival, (where it won Best Documentary Feature), followed by the Boston International Film Festival, (where it won the Best Content Award), and at the San Diego Film Festival, (where it won Best Documentary Film, as well as the Humanitarian Award to Joaquin Phoenix for his work on the film).
Moon Rising (Full Disclosure Version)
For over 50 years we have been told and convinced the Moon is nothing more than a black and white desolate rock with moon dust and craters. The thousands of photos released to the public have always presented a black and white Moon. Even the most recent Hubble Photographs of the Moon are black and white. NASA continues to perpetuate the "lie" that the Moon is black and white. Moon Rising is the first film that presents Full Color Photography of the Moon.
Terry Jones' Barbarians
There is a famous saying: "history is written by the victors". The Roman Empire was one of the greatest military forces of our history, conquering much of the "known world". This means that a big part of our history was written by the Romans. I remember learning in school about Rome's military potency and their cultural heritage. Later, I begun educating myself and I was surprised to find out that many of the things that I knew about their legacy were actually not true.
"Terry Jones' Barbarians" is probably my favorite historical documentary, challenging the Roman and Roman catholic notion of those they had labeled as barbarian.
"The popular view of Celtic society is that it was primitive and uncivilized. Terry Jones sets out to challenge this view. Far from being primitive compared to Rome, it was an advanced society that was in some ways even more advanced than Rome. For example, many of the roads in Gaul that were assumed to have been built by the Romans, turn out to have been built by the Celts themselves. However, Gaul was rich and tempting to Rome. The Roman general, Julius Caesar, set out to conquer Gaul with a professional army. The Celts stood no chance against Caesar and the Romans, and so today what we have is Rome's version of history."
"Jones argues that the ancient Greeks and Persians were in reality far from the Roman view of them as effeminate and addicted to luxury. The Greeks valued science and mathematics, while the Persians had initially allowed multiculturalism among the different ethnic groups of its empire...until years of war with Rome."
"Around 400 AD, two Barbarian babies were born. One would grow up to become the most feared of all - Attila the Hun. The other, Geiseric, led the Vandals whom history has cast as destroyers. Jones claims that Roman civilization wasn't destroyed by the invasion of these tribes, but by the loss of the North African tax base. He sees the common view of Rome and "Barbarians" as a result of the Roman Catholic Church popularizing the Roman version of the truth."

Episode 1: "The Primitive Celts"

Episode 2: "The Savage Goths"
Episode 3: "The Brainy Barbarians"
"Jones argues that the ancient Greeks and Persians were in reality far from the Roman view of them as effeminate and addicted to luxury. Episode 4: "The End of the World"

Chimpanzee (2012)
It’s Earth Day this weekend, and following on the heels of “Earth” and “African Cats,” previous releases from Walt Disney Studios and Disneynature, there is “Chimpanzee.” Tim Allen narrates the story of Oscar, Isha, Freddy and Scar, and the film is co-produced by the Jane Goodall Institute, which preserves the chimpanzee natural habitats in Africa.
This is part of the remarkable and traditional Disney True Life Adventures, and with technology getting so much better and smaller for recording the action, the audience is the fly-on-the-animal for the story of the chimpanzees in their natural home. Tim Allen narrates the film in his own inimitable style, and the result is a breezy and eye-opening nature film for kids and adults alike. Studying the faces and the habits of the animal stars, we can’t help but notice how close the species are to humanity, even in the application of emotional intuition.
Oscar is the latest child to be born into a tribe of chimpanzees in the tropical forests of the Ivory Coast and Uganda, the son of an alpha female named Isha. Oscar’s tribe is led by Freddy, and then all tend and interact in a lush area where food is generally available. Oscar is taught by his mother to fit in, but he won’t reach a maturity until about age 20.
The tribe is threatened by another group of chimpanzees, led by Scar. In the quest for food, Scar wants to raid the area and take over the whole region. In the inevitable battle there are casualties, including mother Isha. Oscar is now alone in the world, but the tribe and Freddy will come through in the end, protecting the territory and their own.
Almost as fascinating as the closeup view of nature is the realization of how rare this landscape is becoming, and how amazing the patience of the film crew is in delivering it. This film was shot over three years, and the footage was edited to a clean and concise 78 minutes. If it is possible to project a leisurely pace in this time, the crew accomplished this as well, for the day-to-day actions of the tribe – like food producing methods – are as prevalent as the confrontational action. This presents a educational balance, especially for the kids.
Although some annoying elements are present…the naming of the chimpanzees and Tim Allen’s inevitable wacky narrative…there was a respect for the nature of beasts as far as the “G” rating could deliver. Yes, this was a Disney squeaky clean film, but the emphasis is on the ongoing quest for food as one of the central themes, even up to the off-screen dismembering of a captured monkey. The law of the jungle is implied through the warring tribes, and there is a conclusion that life is a day-to-day struggle in the animal kingdom.
Oscar is a very photogenic chimpanzee, with the “awww” factor of being newly born to the wild. His relationships with the other members of his tribe become another central theme, it was interesting to see him reach out beyond his mother to learn about how to fend for himself, and his later adoption after the loss of Isha becomes that much more poignant. The filmmakers also had to let this story develop and the delivery of what happened successfully rides on the shoulders of its stars.
The setting is spectacular as well, with rich views of the jungle habitat. There is also a feeling of synchronicity in it all, that the jungle life occurs at the same time our life happens. And in the actions of the chimpanzee tribe there is a satisfying bit of humanity, which relates back to our own relationships. There is a gathering of knowledge for the human audience, in observing the hunter-gathering of chimpanzees.

Biggest Marijuana Dealer of the 60s
George Jung was the biggest marijuana dealer of the 60s and 70s. He was portrayed by Johnny Depp in the cinematic masterpiece "Blow", back in 2001.
Here is an interesting excerpt of a George Jung interview, regarding how marijuana was seen by the public back in the 60s:
Interviewer: Did you feel good about what you were doing?
George Jung: "You mean in reference to morality? I felt that there was nothing wrong with what I was doing because I was supplying a product to people that wanted it and it was accepted. I mean nobody really was making any negative statements about marijuana. In fact it was being accepted, I think at one time, in the 60s it came close to being legalized.
Have a Woodstock where half-a-million people showed up and everybody smoking marijuana. Where else will get a gather of half-a-million people where no one was murdered, there was no violence or what have you.
Nixon wasn't really considered the president by the youth of America. He was considered to be a fraud and which he proved himself to be. There were two mindsets. There was a mindset of the youth of that era that they were against the Vietnam war. And I think it was the first time in the history of the United States where a whole generation stood up and said no to the president of the United States and other authority figures because they felt they were morally right. You know I think it brought a fear to the government itself." (...)
"I was arrested in Chicago (...) the connection that was supposed to take the pot was also involved in the heroin business, which I had no idea he was doing, and he got arrested for that, and of course then to save his soul he informed on me and they arrested me for the pot. Strange thing, when they arrested me for the pot, the federal agents, they said, "We're sorry, we really don't want to bust pot people but this is tied into a heroin operation and we have to arrest you."
(Read the entire interview).
Connecting the dots
The mass awakening started back in the 60s when the Teacher Plant (Marijuana) was freely available and smoked by almost everyone. That generation really scared the established powers. They were mass-opposing violence and wars, while preaching love and oneness. One of their favorite motto was the famous "Make Love, Not War".
I remember accidentally stumbling across a wonderful documentary about the hippie movement, few months ago, and I was astounded to see just how widely spread it was. Actually, most youth of the civilized countries (US, UK, Australia, Germany, Italy, Holland, etc.) were part of this movement back in the 60s. I remember watching in awe how tens of thousands of people moved out from the cities after giving up their homes and jobs in order to join hippie communities and live free.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find that specific documentary, but this one is pretty interesting, as well:
The 60s is also the period when the chemical poisoning of humans begun. Is it just a coincidence? Of course not! They started using techniques and poisons against the awakened people, used by the Nazis in the extermination camps (like fluoride, for example). The chemical dosage in foods, drinks and personal hygiene products steadily grew since the 60s. What is the reason behind consciously poisoning humans if there is no conspiracy (population reduction) behind it?
The movement was at the same time hijacked from the inside by secret agents of the elites, while a murder-spree of that generation's heroes begun (from 60s to 80s a lot of public icons have been murdered: John F. Kennedy and his mistress Marilyn Monroe - allegedly overdosed, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon, Bob Marley - allegedly died of cancer). Even the hippie peace symbol is in fact a satanist sign and it actually represents an upside-down cross with broken arms. (Read More).
So, is there a conspiracy? I'm sure you are now able to answer this question yourself.

The world according to Monsanto
There's nothing they are leaving untouched: the mustard, the okra, the bringe oil, the rice, the cauliflower. Once they have established the norm: that seed can be owned as their property, royalties can be collected. We will depend on them for every seed we grow of every crop we grow. If they control seed, they control food, they know it -- it's strategic. It's more powerful than bombs. It's more powerful than guns.
This is the best way to control the populations of the world. The story starts in the White House, where Monsanto often got its way by exerting disproportionate influence over policymakers via the "revolving door". One example is Michael Taylor, who worked for Monsanto as an attorney before being appointed as deputy commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1991. While at the FDA, the authority that deals with all US food approvals, Taylor made crucial decisions that led to the approval of GE foods and crops. Then he returned to Monsanto, becoming the company's vice president for public policy.
Thanks to these intimate links between Monsanto and government agencies, the US adopted GE foods and crops without proper testing, without consumer labeling and in spite of serious questions hanging over their safety. Not coincidentally, Monsanto supplies 90 percent of the GE seeds used by the US market. Monsanto's long arm stretched so far that, in the early nineties, the US Food and Drugs Agency even ignored warnings of their own scientists, who were cautioning that GE crops could cause negative health effects. Other tactics the company uses to stifle concerns about their products include misleading advertising, bribery and concealing scientific evidence
