The Mongolian Death Worm

The Mongolian death worm is a huge worm like creature that resembles an intestinal worm. No one has actually seen this worm, although a lot of people speak of it in the Gobi Desert area in Asia. It covers part of northern China, and part of southern Mongolia. Many of the locals speak of this creature, and claim to have lost animals, and small children to this beast. This large worm is said to even carry an electric charge, that could kill any human in an instant. It is said to hibernate most of the year, and lives underground. It becomes active during the June and July months of the year. Towns people have said that the worm is mostly seen when it has been raining, and the ground is wet.

Stories of this creature have been a round for a very long time. This is why this story can not be taken lightly. We have no idea if this creature actually does exist, but there is definitely a huge chance, and there are a lot of people that claim to have had experiences. Mongolians even believe that if the worm touches you it will cause instant death. Are these some sort of strange superstition? Is it possible that this thing is another animal that is not of this earth? How can a worm survive in the desert? There are tons of questions surrounding this strange creature. It is even possible that this strange creature could even be a worm lizard or a Amphisbaenid in scientific terms..

In this artist rendition you could possibly see how the worm hibernated, and then fed on pray. This worm is indeed very strange and reminds me of the movie Tremors, where there were burrowing worms beneath the sand, that ate humans. Maybe we should investigate the Gobi Desert more...We might be surprised.
