Prehistoric Flying Machines called Vimana


Ancient Sanskrit text dating as far back as far as 6,000 B.C describe, in varying but vivid detail, flying machines called Vimanas. "The Sifrala which originated in the Chaldean area and time comprises around 100 written pages of technical plans on building a flying machine. Some of the Vedic Texts, which go back to the dawn of writing, give descriptions of air battles and a preemptive nuclear strike. The Hindu Vedas are the oldest of all the texts from the area, and they give a clear picture of vimanas (the Vedic name for these flying machines). The Mahabharata also includes a section on vimanas. The Ramayana speaks of aircraft hangers. Vedic texts declare that there were various kinds of aircraft."
